EARTH : a restless planet

 A Restless Planet :

Men are subject to the vagaries of the weather in many ways. Farmers need rain for their crops, sailors rely on the wind to fill their sails, and we also have tourists who assume sunny days are the norm.
However, the weather on Earth is nothing short of reliable. The atmosphere of our planet is constantly agitated, since a mixing of gas and water being constantly maintained by solar energy.
Sometimes this energy is unleashed with sudden and unpredictable savagery : like tornadoes that make cars fly, and, force 5 hurricanes that turn cities into fields of ruins. Now, and thanks to meteorologists, we can better and better predict future disasters. But the vagaries of the weather remain the most dangerous natural force threatening our planet.

The blue planet :

Heated by the sun, the water that covers three quarters of the Earth's surface evaporates and fills the air with invisible vapor. As it cools, it turns into clouds and falls back to Earth in the form of rain or snow. Indeed, without this permanent recycling of water, there would never have been life on Earth. And since water is the source of life, it is also responsible for terrible disasters like floods and hail.

The weather changes :

The weather varies because the sun heats the Earth irregularly. The tropics receive more heat than the poles, and this imbalance causes the air and clouds in Earth's atmosphere to be in constant motion. The solar atmosphere is also shaken by violent phenomena.
Huge eruptions send hot gases into space. When these gases collide with Earth, they produce the famous Northern Lights or Southern Lights.

 Wilderness :

Storm clouds cause the most violent disturbances. A very small thunderstorm can kill with a well-directed lightning strike.
There are some heavy thunderstorm clouds bombarding the Earth with huge tornadoes of hail and fierce waterspouts that suck everything in their path. Also, there are water columns that can form, like this one that occurred in Florida. But the record damage is caused by cyclones, which kill hundreds of people every year.

TOO MUCH good stuff! !

Flood in Kerala India  Without rain, the men would starve. It is necessary for crops, in particular for rice, which is the staple food of more than half of humanity. Rice grows in flooded fields, so it can only be grown in areas that receive a lot of rain. In India and Nepal, the monsoon makes it possible to cultivate rice during the summer, while in the tropics it is cultivated all year round. When heavy rains are too frequent, they cause floods that kill and devastate more than any other manifestation of bad weather.

Live in ice !

Our Earth is the planet of extremes. Deserts burn under the tropical sun, while polar regions freeze under a layer of ice. The cold goes hand in hand with avalanches, ice, drop in temperature.
It can also cause strange clouds, as well as the spectacular arcs of ice due to the reflection of light on ice crystals.

The Parched Earth:

Sometimes, in humid regions, the rain does not fall for long periods of time, resulting in a drought as dangerous as too much rains. Because fertile soil turns to dust, depriving the earth of its nutrients. It can also crack.
Drought leads to famine which can result in the death of millions of people !.
